Tridel Queen Church:

Located in the heart of Toronto’s most historic district, Queen Church is a dazzling new community from Tridel that uses spatially innovative interior design to transform the meaning of studio living. With the knowledge that Tridel wanted these suites to be much more than just a place to sleep, the biggest design challenge for Studio Houman was the size of the suites. Because they are smaller than the average studio, maximizing space was a priority in this interior design.

With this in mind, Studio Houman and Tridel have created READY, a collection of studios in Queen Church that revolutionize space conscious design. With READY, each suite is three spaces in one, allowing for residents to easily morph and stretch their suite to accommodate living, working, and playing. A Murphy bed that converts into a shelving unit, a custom, floating, fold-out desk, a picture frame that becomes a wall-mounted television and a smart designed shoe closet exemplify the unique functionality of the suite. In one suite, you can have a bedroom, office space, dining room, lounge and more. The use of a light, neutral colour palette and light oak wood flooring create an airy ambiance in the home that enhances the space aesthetically, making it feel more open.
